Summary


This workshop will provide perspective on event planning as a part of a school’s overall development approach. Keys for success, pitfalls to avoid, and strategies to be employed will all be a part of the discussion. This workshop will be instructive for both the novice and the seasoned fundraiser.

Speaker


Gene Liechty is the marketing and development director at Logos School in Moscow, Idaho, a position he has held for two years. Prior to serving at Logos, Gene served for eleven years as both director of development at Cary Christian School and pastor of Christ Church in Cary, North Carolina. In addition to his work at Logos School, Gene is currently director of marketing and sales at Canon Press. He has a degree in marketing/telecommunications from Indiana University and attended Greyfriars Ministerial Hall in Moscow, Idaho, prior to planting a church in North Carolina He and his wife, Kimberly, have four children at Logos School.
