I was first inspired to do a piece like this when I saw a picture of horses in a restaurant. This led me to research horses in the wild. I knew I wanted to do a painting of horses, but with a little originality to really show off the beauty and power of God’s creation. So I decided to do these two horses with a plain background. The minimal choices and simple elements of this painting purposely bring attention to the strength, beauty and resilience of these horses as God’s creation.
