2016 Leaders Day Talk | 47:59:00 | Training & Certification
Summary
Which is more effective: one 60-minute observation per semester or six ten-minute observations? Which will more likely tell you what is really going on in a classroom? Lasting change in the classroom comes as teachers work closely with someone over a long period of time, focusing on specific behaviors, getting and acting on consistent, descriptive feedback. Walk-throughs provide an excellent opportunity for busy administrators to establish a coaching relationship with teachers, with continual application, review, discussion, and feedback.
