2008 Workshop Talk | 1:05:51 | Leadership & Strategic
Summary
Just how well are ACCS school graduates actually performing academically at the college level? How well are they doing compared to other school graduates and home schoolers? And how do the graduates of different ACCS schools compare to one another? By rights, ACCS graduates should be especially well prepared to excel at a classical Christian college like New Saint Andrews„but do they?
Drawing on academic performance data and faculty narrative evaluations of students attending New Saint Andrews College from 1998_2008, I compare the collegeÍs ACCS graduates with other Christian and classically educated students and home schooled students to identify their relative strengths and weaknesses and to suggest possible areas for improvement in the secondary level curricula, pedagogy, academic standards, and student culture of ACCS schools.
