2011 Workshop Talk | 1:07:25 | All Grade Levels, Math
Summary
John Milton Gregory’s classic book, The Seven Laws of Teaching, has become one of the fundamental guides for the classical Christian school. The timeless truths within its pages apply not only to all generations but to all subjects within the classical Christian curriculum. This seminar will seek to look deeper into how math teachers, in particular, can apply these principles effectively in the secondary classroom. Included in the discussion will be several practical illustrations of how the application of Gregory’s laws can cultivate greater understanding and higher-level thinking skills in our students.
