Dr. Albert Mohler

Dr. R. Albert Mohler Jr. serves as president of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary – the flagship school of the Southern Baptist Convention and one of the largest seminaries in the world.

Dr. Mohler has been recognized by such influential publications as Time and Christianity Today as a leader among American evangelicals. In fact, Time.com called him the “reigning intellectual of the evangelical movement in the U.S.”

Dr. Mohler hosts two programs: “The Briefing,” a daily analysis of news and events from a Christian worldview; and “Thinking in Public,” a series of conversations with the day’s leading thinkers. He also writes a popular blog and a regular commentary on moral, cultural and theological issues. Called “an articulate voice for conservative Christianity at large” by The Chicago Tribune, Dr. Mohler’s mission is to address contemporary issues from a consistent and explicitly Christian worldview.

Widely sought as a columnist and commentator, Dr. Mohler has been quoted in the nation’s leading newspapers, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The Washington Post, The Atlanta Journal/Constitution and The Dallas Morning News. He has also appeared on such national news programs as CNN’s “Larry King Live” and “AC360,” NBC’s “Today Show” and “Dateline NBC,” ABC’s “Good Morning America,” “The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer” on PBS, MSNBC’s “Scarborough Country,” and Fox’s “The O’Reilly Factor.”

Dr. Joel Beeke

Dr. Joel R. Beeke is president and professor of systematic theology and homiletics at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary, a pastor of the Heritage Reformed Congregation in Grand Rapids, Michigan, editor of Puritan Reformed Journal and Banner of Sovereign Grace Truth, and editorial director of Reformation Heritage Books. He has written and co-authored over one hundred books (most recently, Reformed Systematic Theology, Reformed Preaching: Preaching God’s Word from the Heart of the Preacher to the Heart of His People, A Puritan Theology: Doctrine for Life, Knowing and Growing in Assurance of Faith, and Debated Issues in Sovereign Predestination), edited another one hundred books, and contributed 2,500 articles to Reformed books, journals, periodicals, and encyclopedias. His PhD is in Reformation and Post-Reformation theology from Westminster Theological Seminary (Philadelphia). He is frequently called upon to lecture at seminaries and to speak at conferences around the world. He and his wife Mary have been blessed with three children and four grandchildren.

Douglas Wilson

As a founder of the movement and pastor of Christ Church in Moscow, Idaho, Douglas Wilson continues to offer fresh insight and provokes us to go further up and further into classical Christian education. Douglas J. Wilson is also Senior Fellow of Theology at New Saint Andrews, a permanent member of the College’s Board of Trustees, and a Professional in Residence.

Bill Stutzman – Hosting Live from Nashville

From teacher, to administrator, to parent, and back again, Bill can relate. This fall, he is headed to Classical Christian Academy in Idaho to join them as their headmaster, but not before making a stop in Nashville to join us at Repairing the Ruins 2020. When not with his school staff, his students, or his own three children, Bill can be found with his guitar in hand and a few notes (musical) scribbled on the nearest napkin.

Ty Fischer – Hosting Live from Harrisburg

Ty Fischer is passionate about classical Christian education. Currently, he heads Veritas Academy in Lancaster, PA, and is a board member for the ACCS. You might hear from Ty as he works with a growing network of donors, curriculum providers, parents, and classical educators to further classical Christian education. When he’s not busy fulfilling that vision, he is spending time with his wife and four daughters.
