Summary

Parent education with an intentional focus will aid a school in developing its ethos and shared culture. Parents trust you to partner with them as they raise and mentor their children. For many parents, they will experience at least thirteen years in an immediate partnership. Consider the parent’s own journey. Are they not also growing, developing, and learning? They are not unchanging. They are maturing as well. And, your school can tap into their passion and their path in order to advance the ministry that your school provides to the families and the larger community. This workshop will explore ways that we have tried to educate our families, and honestly consider ways that did not work. We are exploring ways to expand our parent education, and our school’s own journey may benefit yours as well.
