Leslie Collins and her husband, Dave, have been working in classical and Christian education since 1995 . Leslie was the founding headmistress of Rockbridge Academy in Millersville, Maryland, and was privileged to briefly serve in Kailua, Hawaii, as Trinity Christian School transitioned to a classical model . She is currently the head of school at Covenant Academy in northwest Houston . Leslie and Dave have four children, the youngest of whom is graduating this year . Leslie holds a master of arts in biblical counseling from the Master’s University and a bachelor of science in special education from the University of Maryland.
Nick Duncan is the headmaster of Highland Rim Academy (HRA) in Cookeville, Tennessee. Nick graduated from Tennessee Tech University with a bachelor’s degree in secondary education . His study at university focused mostly on history, but he is passionate about all of the humanities . He is thankful to be a part of a school where Christ is central to all and the liberal arts are used to cultivate wisdom and virtue in
students . As headmaster, he desires to continually strive for excellence in all areas of the school that God may be glorified through the fulfillment of HRA’s vision. He and his wife Stacey have two young sons, John David and Henry .
Keith Nix has served as the head of school at Veritas School in Richmond, Virginia, since 2010. Keith also serves as the vice-chairman of the board for the Association
of Classical and Christian Schools (ACCS) . Previously, Keith was the chairman of the board for the Society for Classical Learning (SCL) and served on the board of the Virginia Council for Private Education (VCPE) . Prior to moving to Veritas in 2010, Keith was a board member, and then later head of school at the Westminster School in Birmingham, Alabama (2004–2010). Prior to working in classical Christian schools, Keith was president of Nixgroup, a boutique consulting firm working with start-up and early stage organizations and businesses, and their boards. Keith plays tennis competitively, loves golf, and enjoys reading great books . He is married to Kim, an accomplished artist; the Nixes have two married sons, a daughter in college, and a new grandson.
