2015 Practicum Talk, 1:15:03, 7-12, General Classroom
Summary
This workshop will explore how oral exams breathe life into assessment. We will examine how oral tests cultivate love for assessment in students by looking at the rich tradition of oral assessment practices throughout the history of Western civilization, particularly in the world of the New Testament. These practices will teach us how to utilize oral exams to reeducate the whole person, the heart, mind, and body, to love what is true, good, and beautiful. The specific target audience for this workshop is 7th_12th grade teachers; however, the workshop will benefit all classical Christian educators.
