Summary


Practical tips for instruction in mathematics for grades K_6 including common struggles and mistakes and effective strategies for success with Singapore Math.

Speaker


Tiffni Blake is a lifelong lover of teaching. She has taught students in the preschool, grammar, logic, and rhetoric years in a mixture of public, private, and home settings. Currently she is in her sixth year of teaching at Covenant Academy in Cypress, Texas. All along, her passion has been to instill in her students a love of learning, and once she discovered the classical model, there was no turning back. She is a graduate of Sam Houston State University with a BS in academic studies and a minor in mathematics and Houston Baptist University with a master of liberal arts degree. She and her husband, Matthew, have three children, Jonathan, Kaitlyn, and Rebecca.
