2022 Workshop Talk | 57:17 | General Classroom, Virtue, Character, Discipline

Summary

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God” (Matthew 5:9). The work we do in our schools is kingdom work. And it is easy to become distracted by divisions that will inevitably arise. So, being intentional about making peace, about having the conversation (or sometimes conversations), and about striving for unity is imperative. It’s always worth the effort! Learn the why and how of intentional peacemaking and gain the practical tools essential to biblical peacemaking with students, faculty/staff, and parents.

Speaker

In 2001, Liz Caddow founded Trinity Classical Academy in Santa Clarita, CA, with her husband, Wally Caddow. Her dream was to open a school that would offer an excellent education grounded in the Christian faith and classical tradition to enable students to thrive academically, spiritually, and emotionally. A small group of committed parents caught the vision and Trinity opened in 2001 with 26 students in kindergarten thru 2nd grade. Each year a new grade level was added until in 2011 Trinity was a full K–12th grade college prep academy. Today Trinity is in its 21st year with 550 students in grades TK thru 12th and has graduated 10 classes totaling 298 students who have attended some of the finest universities and colleges in the United States.
