Summary


As we see in the Scriptures, the acquisition of knowledge, understanding, and wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord. This talk will explore that foundation seeking to make direct application to our schools and homes.

Speaker


Matt Whitling has taught elementary and secondary classes at Logos School in Moscow, Idaho, for the past 21 years. He is currently the secondary and elementary principal, junior high boys PE teacher, and varsity boys basketball coach at Logos. He has published numerous textbooks on spelling, writing, poetry, and a variety of other subjects. Matt earned a BA at Fresno State University in liberal studies and taught remedial math to secondary students in California before moving to Idaho. Matt lives in Moscow with his wife, Tora, and their seven children: Josiah, Jedidiah, Cotton, Miles, Beatrice, Jasper, and Boaz.
