Summary

Classical Christian education works best when teachers and parents act as a team! Come learn some best practices in parent/teacher relationships, how to converse and communicate effectively with parents, and how to approach and get the most out of a parent/teacher conference, from a parental perspective as well as a teacher’s. We’ll look at three main areas of potential conflict, and strive to address each one with explanation and application.

Speaker

Jennie Wilford has been a parent and a proponent of Classical Christian education for more than 20 years. She received a MEd in Literacy from Boise State University in 2010, and has been a teacher at The Ambrose School in Meridian, ID, for five years, as well as a sub and aide for many years prior. She is challenged and encouraged by the classical Christian education movement, and seeks to have deeper relationships with her students and parents. Jennie loves the Idaho setting and lifestyle, where she lives with her husband and teenage son.
