Summary


This session will introduce various business planning tools useful for administrators and board members of ACCS schools. The presenter will draw on his business experience and over 10 years as chairman of Petra Academy in Bozeman, Montana–expect an interactive session.

Speaker


Greg Gianforte and his wife, Susan, have called Bozeman home since 1995. He is a serial entrepreneur and working to create worthwhile livelihoods in Montana. All of their four children were educated at Petra Academy, an ACCS-accredited school, where he has served as chairman for over 10 years Mr GianforteÍs most recent company, RightNow, was founded in Bozeman in 1997 and grew to more than 1,100 employees before being purchased by Oracle in 2012. RightNow was his fifth software start-up Mr Gianforte now spends much of his time mentoring Montana entrepreneurs via the Bozeman Technology Incubator (www bozeman com). He also sits on a number of for-pro t private and public company boards. Mr Gianforte is also involved in a number of philanthropic endeavors, through the Gianforte Family Foundation which he and his wife founded, including the expansion of ACE Scholarships into Montana and ACCS-accredited schools ACE Scholarships provides $2,000 per year scholarships to low and moderate income families to enable them to send their kids to the private schools of their choice Mr Gianforte serves on a number of non-pro t boards including Petra Academy (chairman) in Bozeman, the Milton Friedman Foundation, the Association of Classical Christian Schools, and the ACE Scholarships Board in Denver Mr Gianforte earned his BE degree in electrical engineering and an MS degree in computer science from Stevens Institute of Technology in 1983.
