Summary
A successful program begins by knowing the telos, the goal one wishes to achieve, and then building a track to attain that prize. At Grace Academy, Karen has developed a successful Latin program that begins in third grade and culminates in a ninth grade Latin literature course followed by an AP Latin class in tenth grade. In this presentation Karen shares how this program has taken shape, including the common challenges that arise such as maintaining parental support for Latin, building student enthusiasm, and incorporating new students in later grades.
