2011 Workshop Talk | 0:53:50 | All Grade Levels, Theology & Bible
Summary
While we have a sense that God has principles for how resources are raised, we also know that there must be more than finding the wealthy donor who is ready to make our schoolÍs financial problems go away. Classical and Christian schools can be seen as countercultural because we subject everything to the Word of God. In doing so, biblical stewardship starts with the leaders (us) when we ask, “What have we been given and how can our wealth be used for the Kingdom?”
From there, we embark on a journey to minister to individuals and families in a way that helps them express their faith through their own stewardship. We will walk through the principles and practices that make stewardship the way we think and live, not just the task we do.
