Summary

As we are engaged in the endeavor of building an alternative school system, one natural question arises. Alternative to what? How can we be countercultural without knowing what culture we are countering, and what culture we are countering with? Not surprisingly, the key to understanding this is understanding the lordship and supremacy of Jesus Christ. That sounds good. But before the battle for the Bible is the equally crucial battle for the dictionary. And understanding that is the key to understanding pretty much everything.
