Add Conference Talks and Media

This form creates a post for the conference_media custom post type. These posts are accessed from the Library > Conference Talks page or in search results.

  • Title - Speaker Name. Always include the complete title and speaker name(s).
  • First name last name.
  • MM slash DD slash YYYY
  • NOT URL from Vimeo page. Use the URL below, but put in the proper "video ID"
  • Upload the file if it's in the WordPress Media Library or on your local computer.
    Accepted file types: mp3, mp4, wav, mov, doc, docx, xls, xlsx, pdf, ppt, jpg, png, Max. file size: 10 MB.
  • This short description displays in search results.
  • The summary is the main body of the post. It should summarize the talk and/or materials.
  • Speaker image or organization logo.
    Accepted file types: jpg, jpeg, png, gif.
  • Add additional files here, such as handouts, presentations, etc.

    Accepted file types: mp3, mp4, mov, doc, docx, xls, xlsx, pdf, ppt, jpg, png, Max. file size: 10 MB, Max. files: 3.
    • Enter conference year
    • DO NOT use already existing information, such as speaker name, year, or any categories listed above. Enter up to 10 "tags." Think of words people might use if they are searching for information on this topic, or for this talk specifically.

      Separate tags with commas

    • Apply the Default Location > Library category.
    • Apply the Default Type > Conference Talks.
    • Is it a video? (Always select audio too for sorting reasons)
