All of my art has been influenced by my art teacher since I was four. She taught me everything I know about art and helped me turn what I learned from her into my own personal style. This painting reflects that style and the many years she trained me. Specifically the mountains in the background were impacted by her painting style. My older sister also helped inspire this painting. Especially in the last year, she and I have done art together and she has helped me grow. We went on a mission trip to Alaska together where we experienced the grandeur of the landscape. She has been a huge influence on my art as a whole as we grew up and learned together.
