Sample Head of School Profiles

These are sample school profiles made specifically to give a potential head of school a good picture of your school’s background and mission.

“At Ambrose, we seek to work in harmony with the family, helping prepare young people to think with depth, believe with courage, and serve with compassion. Founded in 1995, The Ambrose School serves the growing community of Boise, Idaho. Since our founding, we have been dedicated to the recovery of the classical Christian form of education that once perpetuated Christian culture. In our first year we had only three students in a single room. We grew through several rented church facilities over the next decade. Today, The Ambrose School serves over 525 5-day students and around 100 shared instruction students. The school resides in a nearly complete 83,000 square foot building that features state of the art classrooms, science labs, orchestra rooms, two gymnasiums, and an inspiring library. Our facility is purpose built and has been recognized for its beauty and warmth. The Ambrose School has grown to become one of the most developed and leading classical Christian schools in the country. We lead with innovations in letters, Latin, common-placing, Socratic teaching, and student House programs. Our academic program includes over 100 great books, and we give teachers the freedom to inspire students as they cover about 50 great ideas.”
