2012 Workshop Talk | 1:05:30 | 7-12, Logic
Summary
Educated guesses are as important to our everyday decisions as deductive certainty, and it is for this reason that the powerful methods of inductive reasoning have been developed. This workshop will introduce its audience to the key features of induction and its connections to other elements of traditional logic and rhetoric curricula. Woven throughout this overview of generalizations, hypotheses, analogies, and testimonials will be practical suggestions for integrating induction throughout various subjects at the logic and rhetoric stages.
