Summary

Are you inspiring your students to love studying God’s creation? Or do your students see your science class as an endless stream of information to be learned, or in some cases, to be memorized and quickly forgotten? In this workshop we will discuss how the teaching practices you incorporate into your classroom influence the science education you provide to your students. Are you teaching your students science content devoid of scientific practices? Are you truly training a new generation of thinkers and problem-solvers? We will explore how to effectively teach rhetoric-level science courses that not only teach content, but more importantly teach the students how to think and how to problem-solve so that they are equipped to be lifelong learners.
